Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Title: Hush, Hush
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Genre: YA fantasy, paranormal fiction
Publisher: Simon and Schuster
Pages: 400
Series: Book 1
The Premise: For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. At least, not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and probing eyes, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust—she can't decide whether she should fall into Patch's arms or run and hide from him. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth more unsettling than any feeling Patch evokes. For Nora stands amid an ancient battle between the immortal and those who have fallen—and choosing the wrong side will cost her life.
Cover Commentary: I love this cover! There is nothing more than beautifully represented fallen angel! I also like the shiny grey hardcover, I know that series continue with this grey so I am looking forward to putting these lovely books on my shelves!
Commentary: I love the theme of fallen angels and I bought this book as soon as it was released. But I don't know what's wrong with me, I really waited for a long time to read the book. When I finally read it, I was in love with it!
Nora is a normal high school girl, but things changed when she first met the dark boy who is completely mysterious. She struggles with the true identities of the people around her while something mysterious and frightening is following her.
I don't like givin spoilers in my reviews, you should read and learn about Nora and mysterious things happenning around her, but I can easiliy say that you can't put this book aside easily. I read it in two days time without blinking my eyes and now I am growing impatient to read the second book in this series.
